The poem was written prior to adding the artful effect. I smudged distress inks of varying blue hues for the sky. Over the poem and colored background I added a stencil of clouds. The poem was initially part of a previous project that I was working on a few years before and eventually decided to give it new life. This piece is available in my shop.
