I wrote this concrete poem several years ago as part of a Concrete poem manuscript project. I used a resist technique where I added distress inks to a piece of cardstock (a darker color and a contrasting lighter color). On top of the distressed inks I spread glue liberally like butter on toast. I allowed the piece to dry. Once dried I  added a couple more colors on top and I got this interesting effect. 

I printed out my dragonfly poem and gave it new life. I added a light blue distress ink to the body and wings in hopes of highlighting the words. I added some glitter dimension to the head and wings. Voila! This piece is available in my shop.
