This is an excerpt from my current Art Journal. I had previously written the one-liner poem and then the idea sprouted from the vine-y verse. 😁

I crumpled some tissue paper and then I attached it to a blank kraft page in my journal.Then I smudged distress inks: Uncharted Mariner, Scorched Timber, and Villainous Potion to the crinkled and wrinkles of my page. I added a compass. I added a harlequin patterned heart in the center with a game piece spinner.Then I painted and stenciled a tag. I attached a moon face transparency to the tag. After that I attached the moon next to my page.

For the stars I splattered some fossilize am er spritzer to the night sky. At the bottom I printed my one-liner poem in Telegram font and attached it in two pieces. Finally, I added a colored heart with a button in the center.

I like how most of this turned out. I may make another variation of this piece and make it available in my Etsy shop, I haven’t decided yet.What do you think?
